Before playing the recording, students of Band 6 must take advantage of the time after handing out the papers to have a good look at the listening topics and options, and learn to use effective topics to judge the contents and topics to be investigated, which can be summarized as follows:
Look at the whole and find the same keywords in the questions and options. Maybe you can understand the general content of listening through these words.
Look at the options. There will be four options for each listening topic. Draw the similarities and differences of each option.
2. Listening skills in recording and playing
When listening to CET-6, the first thing candidates need to know is that the content of the listening dialogue is the same as the order in which we do the questions. For example, if you can only hear the answer to the second question, but you can't hear the first question, you have missed it. Listening materials are generally not messy, and you can do them one by one in order.
Secondly, candidates should be alert to conjunctions in listening materials, especially some words indicating turning points and causal categories. Turning words usually make many candidates choose the opposite option, while causal words usually focus on the second half of the sentence. There are some words of emphasis and explanation that you can't miss. The minimum structure in listening process is: some keywords+conjunctions+some keywords. Only in this way can candidates choose the correct answer.
Three. Measurement after recording.
When the last question doesn't come to a correct conclusion, you must learn to put it down and grasp these tens of seconds to read the topic and options of the next question. If there are some tangled options in the last question of CET-6, you can circle both options and wait until all the listening plays are over before choosing. This is the determination that candidates should have when doing listening.
