Enshi Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary college approved by Hubei Provincial People's Government. The school originated from Hubei Rural Normal Branch established by 1938, and Enshi Normal College was established by 1978. 1989 was named Hubei University for Nationalities and became an ordinary undergraduate college. 1998 With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the former Hubei Institute for Nationalities and Enshi Medical College merged to form a new Hubei Institute for Nationalities. 20 18 12.26 was officially renamed Hubei institute for nationalities.
