The college now has six majors: primary education, Chinese education, mathematics education, music performance, media planning and management, and sports service and management.
3. 1 Chinese education major
Chinese education major is a newly established major based on primary education major (Chinese language and literature) in 2005, which enrolls ordinary high school students in the province for three years. This major pursues "macro consistency and profound beauty" in scholarship and "learning from others" in teaching. According to the requirements of "specialization" of education and "integration" of disciplines, and the concept of "comprehensive training and professional expertise" for primary school teachers, we will cultivate primary school Chinese teachers, education administrators and researchers who have all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, have solid Chinese professional knowledge, professional accomplishment and language ability, can meet the needs of basic education reform and development, and have certain scientific research ability and innovation ability. There are 20 full-time teachers and 4 off-campus part-time teachers in this major. Among them, there are 5 professors and associate professors, 2 lecturers/kloc-0, 4 teachers with master's degree or above/kloc-0 and 4 graduate students. There are five national and provincial Putonghua proficiency testers among the teachers. Many people have obtained the qualification certificate for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
3.2 Mathematics Education Major
Mathematics education major is a newly established major based on the primary education major (the direction of mathematics education) of our college in 2005. It enrolls students for ordinary high schools in the province and has a three-year academic system. According to the requirements of "specialization" of education and "integration" of disciplines, and the training concept of "comprehensive training and professional expertise", we will cultivate primary school mathematics classrooms, education and scientific research with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, good scientific quality, solid foundation of mathematics specialty, advanced modern scientific education concept, ability to meet the needs of basic education reform and development, and certain teaching practice ability, scientific research ability, innovative spirit and ability to implement quality education. There are 20 full-time teachers and 6 part-time teachers in this major, including professor 1 person, associate professor 12 person and lecturer 13 person.
3.3 Primary Education Major
The major of primary education was founded on the basis of inheriting nearly a hundred years of normal school running 1994. This major is the leading major in the college, and currently adopts the "five-year consistent" academic system. That is to say, from the perspective of five years, it is necessary to design the training of primary school teachers and university education as a whole, strive to integrate the comprehensive education cultivated by the former normal teachers with the branch education in the university stage, plan the five-year education process as a whole, and regard the first three years as the training stages of teachers' professional skills training, artistic and sports quality training, basic theory of education and teaching, and basic skills learning and training; In the last two years, subject-based education was implemented in the form of major disciplines, and at the same time, the cultivation of educational theory and practical ability and educational scientific research ability was further strengthened, so as to make students become qualified primary school teachers with "all-round development and expertise" to meet the needs of contemporary quality education. The goal is expressed as: "to cultivate high-quality primary education teachers, educational researchers and educational administrators with ideals, morality, culture, discipline, innovative spirit and practical ability." This major has set up a professional construction steering committee headed by Professor Luo Xiangfa, former president of Zhejiang Normal University, with provincial primary education experts and educational administrative leaders as members, and will become a key construction major at the school level within three years, and establish the status of "Jinhua Primary Education Teacher Training Center, Continuing Education Center and Education Research Center" as the professional construction goal. Since the establishment of this major, nearly 2,000 college graduates have been sent to primary schools in Zhejiang Province. With solid cultural knowledge and professional knowledge, and solid basic skills of "listening, speaking, reading, writing and drawing", they have won public praise and praise. There are 74 full-time teachers in this major, including 27 with associate high school education or above, 29 with intermediate titles, master's degree 1 1, and provincial special-grade teachers 1. 3.4 Pre-school Education Major
Preschool education specialty was founded on the basis of normal school running in 200 1. It is a key construction major in the school and a Chaoyang major in the college. Cultivate correct political and moral concepts, advanced pre-school education concepts, solid scientific and humanistic knowledge, strong education and teaching ability and preliminary scientific research ability, master six basic skills of playing, singing, jumping, speaking, drawing and doing, be good at communication, be brave in innovation and be healthy physically and mentally. In personnel training, we should pay attention to building various platforms to improve students' ability and artistic accomplishment. This major consists of Professor Xu Zhuoya, honorary director of the Department of Preschool Education of Nanjing University, Professor Li Weijian, director of the Institute of Psychology of Zhejiang Normal University, and provincial preschool education experts and educational administrative leaders. It will declare provincial key majors and gradually establish the status of "pre-school teacher training center, continuing education center and education research center in central and western Zhejiang" as the professional construction goal. At present, this major has 17 practice bases, 1 affiliated kindergartens and 1 experimental kindergartens. Since its establishment, it has sent nearly a thousand college graduates to preschool education in Zhejiang Province. There are 29 full-time teachers in this major, including 8 with associate senior or above titles, 9 with intermediate titles 10 and master's degree. Relying on the advantages of this major, Jinhua Education Bureau established Jinhua Preschool Education Teacher Training Center in our college in 2004. Since 2004, our college has become the only unit with examiner's right in the joint examination of art preschool education in higher vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province.
3.5 Music Performance Major
The music performance major was founded in 200 1, which is an important measure for the college to actively adapt to the demand for talents in the development of social economy, science and technology and culture in 2 1 century, and to "develop both normal and non-normal schools" and expand the way of running schools. This major aims at "cultivating applied music professionals who have certain basic Marxist theoretical literacy and systematic professional basic knowledge, have certain music practical skills and teaching ability, and can be competent for music performance, organization and planning of literary and artistic activities, music teaching, artistic practice and innovation, cultural management and other work of various literary and art groups, relevant social and cultural departments and music education fronts", and is characterized by "skill-centered, learning-oriented". This major has set up a professional construction steering committee with Professor Tian Yaonong, Dean of the School of Music Art of Hangzhou Normal University, as the director and experts from the music industry inside and outside the province as members, and initially established an open modular curriculum system and a relatively independent and complete practical teaching system with the theoretical teaching system. Focusing on the cultivation of vocational skills, according to the principle of "calling before responding, step by step, process monitoring and system guarantee", the teaching time, content, level response, counseling, testing and assessment are fully implemented. There are 6 full-time teachers, 2 associate professors, 2 part-time teachers and 3 external teachers. This major actively expanded its external contacts and cooperation, and established eight practice bases. Teachers and students have won many awards in national, provincial and municipal performances and won favorable comments.
3.6 Media Management and Planning Specialty
Media planning and management (cultural communication and planning) is a new major approved by the Ministry of Education in 2005, with a duration of three years, in order to respond to the construction of a cultural province, meet the needs of cultural construction and management of enterprises and institutions and the characteristics of modern cultural construction and communication. This major aims at cultivating all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, mastering systematic basic theoretical knowledge and skills of cultural planning, summarizing cultural phenomena of enterprises and institutions, planning and organizing cultural activities of enterprises and institutions, and using modern media to publicize the image of enterprises and institutions, and offering courses such as "New Media and Network Communication", "Planning and Organization of Cultural Activities", "Corporate Image Planning" and "Secretary Theory and Practice". There are 6 full-time teachers and 3 external teachers, including 4 deputy senior teachers and 3 lecturers.
3.7 Sports Service and Management Specialty
Sports service and management major is a new major approved by the Ministry of Education in 2007. This major trains applied professionals who can adapt to the development of sports socialization in China and engage in sports management, development, organization and management, consultation and guidance in the field of social sports. Through the study of this major, students can master the basic theoretical knowledge of social sports related disciplines, have the basic ability to engage in social sports organization and management, consultation and guidance, and be competent for sports industry management and sports market development. This major offers sports management, physique measurement and evaluation, principles and methods of physique health, social sports, sports industry economics, sports marketing and other main courses. There are full-time teachers 17 in this major, including 2 professors, 8 associate professors and 5 lecturers.
