Do you know anyone in Tangxi Town?
Through the quaint and deep alleys, step into the elegant temples and feel the rich rural customs ... In it, a little homesickness arises spontaneously. It is the rural sages who usually stay in people's word of mouth that can evoke our homesickness most. I am from Tangxi County, and now I work in Tangxi. Naturally, I have more respect for Tangxi Xiangxian.

I have been to Jiufeng Mountain countless times, and I will stop for a long time when I look for the "Three Sages Hall" in Jiu Feng Zen Temple. The "three sages" are Long, Xu Bozhen and Xu. And the so-called "three sages of Jiu Feng" certainly deserve it.

Long Qiu midge (? —— 24), who lived in seclusion in Longqiu Mountain (now Jiufeng Mountain in Tangxi) at the end of the Western Han Dynasty, was regarded as the ancestor of rural sages by the county people.

Xu Bozhen (4 14-497), born in the late Southern Qi Dynasty, opened the earliest private lecture hall in Jiu Feng, where he taught more than a thousand students. This shows Xu Bozhen's great influence on rural culture.

Xu (67 1-743) was originally named Chu Bi, a scholar in the Tang Dynasty, and was named Donghai Zi. When he was young, he studied in the cave of Longqiu Mountain. In his later years, he abandoned his official post and returned to the stone room of Longqiu Mountain to write a book, and founded Anzheng Bookstore at the foot of the mountain. This is the origin of Jiu Feng Academy.

In recent years, the working relationship has been mobilized frequently, and now the work unit is next to the temple in Tangxi Town. Under the recommendation of its director, Mr. Xie, I consulted Tangxi County Annals and found an article entitled "Rebuilding the Immortal Temple of Famous Officials in Tangxi County", written by Shen Linzhi, a student in Jinhua County (now Shaoxing) during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, including "Tangxi Five Sages". In the Tang Dynasty, Mr. Xu was worshipped for his peace. Mr. Bai Yang and Li in Song Dynasty; In the Ming dynasty, Mr. Zhu won, and Mr. Wang won. It has been more than 1000 years since the Han Dynasty, and there are only five people eating in the temple, which can be described as loners. "

? Regarding the "Five Saints of Tang Xi" recorded in the article, Long Qiuchang and Xu are two of the "Three Saints of Jiu Feng". Who are Yang Yuli, Zhu Sheng and Hu Sen?

Yang Yuli (1213-1256) was born in Bai Matan, Hutian Township, Tangxi County. He studied under Zhu and was called Mr. Chuanshan. At that time, He Ji and Wang Bai asked him for advice. Wang Bai said: "It was in Chuanshan that I first learned the origin of Errol." Others said: "The study of the river king has deep source power." Thus, the Confucianism of Yang and Li is profound.

Zhu Sheng, whose date of birth and death is unknown, was born in Tangxi Village (that is, Tangxi County in ancient times). Yongle was a juren, a clean, quiet and sensitive official, and died in office.

Hu Sen (1493- 1564), whose real name is Xiufu and whose real name is Jiu Feng, was a scholar in the 16th year of Ming Zhengde (152 1). During his tenure, he loved the people and thrived, being honest and clean. Later, because he didn't agree with power, he resigned from his post and returned to his hometown for the benefit of Sang Zi. In his later years, he lived in seclusion in Jiufeng Mountain, and was buried under Jiufeng Mountain after his death. He wrote Jiu Feng Collection.

Yes, if you can cross the tunnel of time and space, it is enough to meet so many outstanding rural sages. However, we also have doubts:

First, why not "Six Sages of Tang Xi", but omit Xu Bozhen from "Three Sages of Jiu Feng"?

I also found from relevant materials that Shen Linzhi is famous for compiling local chronicles. He has participated in the compilation of local chronicles such as Fu Jinhua Annals and Shanyin County Annals. It should be said that his research is quite rigorous and there will be no such mistakes.

Second, isn't it enough for Shen Lin to call Xu Botao a "national sage"?

So I looked it up in the Chinese dictionary. What is a "country sage"? The explanation is: "people with noble character in the village." Then enter "Baidu Search", and two items are displayed on the screen:

First, a person defined as having both ability and political integrity is respected by fellow villagers.

Secondly, the word "rural sage" began in the Eastern Han Dynasty, which is an honorary title commended by the state after the death of an official who has made a difference, or a social sage with high prestige and great contribution to society. It is an affirmation of the life value of those who enjoy this title. To the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were Xiangxian shrines in all counties, which were dedicated to Xiangxian figures of past dynasties. So a complete set of official memorial and memorial ceremonies was formed.

It can be seen that Xu Bo's real honorary title of "National Sage" should be deserved. At the same time, it also made me understand why the "Three Sages of Jiu Feng" originated in Longqiu. That's because the word "national sage" began in the Eastern Han Dynasty, and Long Qiuchang just died at the turn of the Western Han Dynasty and the Eastern Han Dynasty. However, as an ancient country, Tang Xi already existed in the Spring and Autumn Period. As a saint of Jiu Feng, there will never be a shortage in history. Therefore, there are few historical records of Jiu Feng sages before the Eastern Han Dynasty. Of course, it is impossible to prove it now. Also, Tangxi County rebuilt the Xianci in the famous township, so it's no wonder that we should invite famous people to "remember".

Therefore, it seems that Saint Xu Bozhen may be a question of geographical affiliation. Imagine that if Long Qiuchang, Xu Bozhen and Xu Anzhen are classified as "the three sages of Jiu Feng", then Xu Bozhen, the last person of Nanqi, analyzed Jinhua County, Lanxi County, Longyou County of Quzhou Prefecture and Suichang County of Chuzhou Prefecture in the seventh year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (147 1). If my inference is reasonable, then Jin and Qu are concerned.

Of course, even if Shen Linzhi wrote this story to solve a big unsolved case between neighboring counties, by the time he wrote this article, it is said that there were already "five sages of Tang Xi". Who are the successors? Therefore, after Hu Sen, I might as well screen them one by one. I am not ignorant, so I would like to add two more people to Shen Linzhi's diary, which are collectively called "Seven Sages of Tang Xi": in the Qing Dynasty, I worshipped Mr. Hu Weiwei; In the Republic of China, Mr. Ji Chu worshipped Hong.

Hu Wei (1712-1796) was born in Qian Hu village, Yangbu town. He lived a quiet and honest life, and his life was based on "filial piety and love". As an honest official, he is deeply loved by the people. Resign and return home, thank guests behind closed doors, teach by example and encourage future generations. He once participated in the compilation of Tangxi County annals, and wrote History of Reading and Managing the Family.

Hong Chuji was born in 1905 in Hongyanghong Village, Yangbu Town. Graduated from Tokyo University of Political Science and Law, Japan, and went to school with former Japanese Prime Minister tanaka kakuei. After returning from studying abroad, 194 1 founded Tangxi Middle School and served as the first principal. He once put all the pension that his second brother Hong sacrificed for War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression into the construction of Tangxi Middle School. Therefore, Mr. Hong Chuji made great contributions to the development of Tangxi education in modern times.

After the completion, as a result, at this time, facing the towering Jiufeng Mountain and the gurgling stream, I was lost in thought again: So, who did the sages of Tangxi know after Hong Chu Ji? But I firmly believe that although Tangxi is small, it is a relic of an ancient country, and the style of our sages lasts forever. Therefore, when I opened this record written by Shen Linzhi again, I saw this feeling in the article: "In the temple, it seems to be a famous minister. Do you feel excited if the people are driven away by the people? " If you are a rural saint, if you are a person who lags behind you, will you rise without hope? "

Then, Tangxi people, descendants of Gu, the next or the next Guo Xian, who can "rise with hope"?

-We're looking forward to it!
