1982, 18-year-old Ma Yun experienced his first failure in the college entrance examination. 1983, Ma Yun took the college entrance examination again and failed again. By 1984, the third college entrance examination was barely admitted to Hangzhou Normal University as a junior college student.

From 65438 to 0988, Ma Yun graduated from the English Department of Foreign Languages Department of Hangzhou Normal University and went to Hangzhou Institute of Electronic Technology as a lecturer in English and international trade.
