Zheng Guo, 1976, born in Jiangsu, is a trombone of China Wind Music Society, vice president of tuba Federation, minister of trombone department of Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, minister of brass music department of Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra (1997-2009), guest performer of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, founder of Guangzhou Golden Brass Quintet, founder of Guangdong Bass Brass Orchestra, associate professor of trombone of Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of Music and director of brass teaching and research section.
Zheng Guo began to learn trombone at the age of nine, and studied under Professor Zhang Jichun, director of the Orchestral Department of Nanjing Art Institute, and Mr. Guo Hao, the chief trombone player of the Chinese Symphony Orchestra. 1993 used to be the chief trombone in the symphony orchestra of Jiangsu Song and Dance Theatre. 1997 joined the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra as the chief trombone. 1999 was awarded the highest overseas scholarship of Friendship Association by Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to study at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He studied under Professor Trombone of University of Chicago, Professor Philip Brink of Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and Jarod Vermette, Chief Trombone of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. He studied chamber music performance and teaching under Professor Joe Kirtley, director of the wind music department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and served as a wind music teaching assistant. 200 1, graduated from the hong kong academy for performing arts with the excellent results of "double star".
