Judging from the current development status of domestic engineering universities, the top ten universities in science and engineering mainly include Tsinghua University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tianjin University, China University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Tongji University, Beihang University, Northeastern University and Northwestern Polytechnical University.

I. Tsinghua University

Second, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, referred to as "National University of Science and Technology", is an innovative university with the integration of science and education as its running mode and postgraduate education as its main body, and has been selected as a national "world-class discipline construction university". In the latest ESI data released from June 5438 +2020 10, the National Science and Technology University ranked 76th internationally, ranking first among mainland universities. Among all the 22 disciplines, the Department of Materials Science and Chemistry of National Science and Technology University of China ranks among the top 1000 ESI. 3. Huazhong University of Science and Technology

Huazhong University of Science and Technology, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and one of the first world-class universities in China (Class A). Selected as "985 Project", "2 1 1 Project", "Strong Foundation Plan" and "165438". In the fourth round of discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education, four disciplines including mechanical engineering, optical engineering, biomedical engineering, public health and preventive medicine entered A+, A 14 disciplines and B+ and above 33 disciplines. Adhering to the concept of "service is the aim, contribution is development", the school faces the main battlefield of national economic construction, combines with Industry-University-Research, works closely with local governments and large enterprises, and conducts horizontal scientific and technological cooperation by setting up overseas research institutes and industrialization bases to serve regional economic construction.
