The School of Nursing of Tianjin Medical University is one of the 23 departments of Tianjin Medical University. Tianjin Medical University is located in the center of Tianjin. Its predecessor, Tianjin Medical College, was founded in 195 1. It is the first medical school approved by the State Council after the founding of New China. Now it is the first batch of key construction institutions in the national "2 1 1 Project".

1983 Tianjin medical university resumed the five-year undergraduate higher nursing education for the first time and established the nursing department. 65438-0994 The Department of Nursing of Tianjin Medical University was awarded the first batch of master's degrees in China. 65438-0996 The Ministry of Education approved the establishment of China Higher Nursing Education Society, and the permanent institution is the Department of Nursing of Tianjin Medical University. In 2002, the former Department of Nursing of Tianjin Medical University was renamed the College of Nursing of Tianjin Medical University.

With the increasing social demand for nursing students, the college has set up all levels of education, full-time undergraduate education, with a five-year academic system, enrolling about 120 students every year, and full-time postgraduate education with a three-year academic system.
