In April, 2004, according to the decision of the State Council and the provincial government to vigorously promote the reform and development of vocational education, the school was formed by the former Suzhou University of Construction Workers, Suzhou Technical Secondary School of Construction Workers, Suzhou Technical Secondary School of Urban Construction, Suzhou Technical Secondary School of Building Materials and Suzhou in accordance with the requirements of the "Measures for Setting Higher Vocational Schools in Jiangsu Province (Five-year System)" and the "Overall Plan for Adjusting the Layout and Structure of Suzhou Vocational Education". In September 2004, she officially settled in Suzhou International Education Park. The school is a "National Automobile Operation and Maintenance Skilled Talents Training Base" which integrates professional training, teaching and scientific research.
