The college has different main conditions for different types of applicants.

1. For mainland students: academic performance: the score line of the college entrance examination needs to reach more than one line in the province where it is located, and individual majors may set a higher score line. English scores: The scores of English subjects in NMET are usually between 120 and 125 (full mark 150 standard), or meet certain English language test standards, such as IELTS score of not less than 6.5 and TOEFL score of not less than 93. Interview: In most cases, mainland students need to attend the all-english interview organized by HKU. Interview can take the form of personal interview or group discussion to evaluate the comprehensive quality, communication ability and professional knowledge of the candidates. Other requirements: You may need to provide some additional materials to prove your comprehensive quality, such as social practice, extracurricular activities, scientific research experience or award certificates.

2. For international students: academic performance: you can apply with IB diploma, which usually requires 365,438+0 and above; Or pass the GCE A-level exam, and the comprehensive score requires AAA-AAB;; You can also use the SAT/ACT/AP scores as the basis for your application. Language requirements: You also need to meet certain English proficiency requirements, such as IELTS 6.0 or above, and some majors may have higher requirements.
