Detailed rules for the implementation of the work of awarding bachelor's degree in Wuhan University

Article 1 In order to standardize the awarding of bachelor's degrees in management schools, these rules are formulated in accordance with the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Interim Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on Academic Degrees in People's Republic of China (PRC), combined with the actual situation of the school.

Article 2 These Detailed Rules are applicable to the degree awarding of ordinary undergraduate graduates of our university, and the degree awarding of ordinary undergraduate graduates of independent colleges organized by our university shall be implemented with reference to these Detailed Rules.

Article 3 Undergraduate graduates who meet the following conditions shall be awarded bachelor's degrees in corresponding disciplines (philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine and management) by the school:

(a) support the leadership of the China * * * production party, love the socialist motherland, abide by the Constitution and laws, abide by school rules and regulations, and have good conduct;

(2) has reached the requirements of the training plan, graduated after examination and approval, and the results of its course study and graduation thesis (graduation design or other graduation practice links) show that it has truly mastered the basic theory, professional knowledge and basic skills of this discipline, and initially has the ability to engage in scientific research or undertake professional and technical work;

(3) foreign language proficiency meets one of the following conditions:

1, CET-4 certificate for non-foreign language majors;

2. English majors have passed CET-8, and French, German, Japanese and Russian majors have reached CET-4 with a score of 425 or above or obtained a national CET-4 certificate;

Article 4 (Non-foreign language majors) Students whose language subjects are not English in the college entrance examination, ethnic minority preparatory students, overseas Chinese students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, foreign students, high-level athletes and art students recognized by the school are not required to obtain a bachelor's degree.

Article 5 A bachelor's degree shall not be awarded under any of the following circumstances:

1, there are words and deeds that openly oppose the constitution in politics, and they still insist on persuasion and education;

2. During the school period, he was given a demerit, stayed in school for probation, or violated the examination discipline twice;

3. school leavers after graduation;

4. The foreign language level can't meet the above requirements;

5, by the school or college (Department) degree evaluation (sub) committee review that can not be awarded a bachelor's degree.

Article 6 Under any of the following circumstances, a bachelor's degree may be awarded after discussion and approval by the academic degree evaluation sub-committee of the college (department) and review by the academic degree evaluation committee of the school:

1. Having been given a demerit for violating the examination discipline, staying in school for observation and obtaining a master's degree upon graduation;

2, due to violation of examination discipline by demerit, probation, was rated as a school-level three-good student, or was rated as an excellent graduate when graduation;

3. Colleges (departments) and schools that have made outstanding academic achievements.

Article 7 Ordinary undergraduate graduates from independent colleges organized by our school must not only meet the above requirements, but also take the course examinations organized by our school and pass the examinations.

Article 8 Students who have not been awarded a bachelor's degree upon graduation or upon graduation shall not be awarded a supplementary degree.

Article 9 Students must take CET-4 and CET-8, otherwise Wuhan University will not award a bachelor's degree.

Article 10 Procedures for awarding bachelor's degrees:

1, individual application;

2. College (Department) academic degree evaluation committee examines students' course credits, academic performance, graduation thesis (graduation design or other practical teaching links), graduation appraisal and other materials one by one, and puts forward a list of graduates to be awarded bachelor's degrees;

3. After being audited by the Academic Affairs Office, it will be submitted to academic degree evaluation committee for examination and approval. Those who pass the examination will be awarded a bachelor's degree and a certificate will be issued.

Eleventh these rules shall come into force as of the date of graduation in 2006, and shall be interpreted by the educational administration department authorized by academic degree evaluation committee. The original "Interim Measures for the Issuance of Bachelor's Degrees for Ordinary Undergraduate Graduates of Wuhan University" shall be abolished.
