After Yi Zhongtian retired, he seldom attended public lectures. The main reason is that Yi Zhongtian is writing The History of China in Yi Zhongtian. He is going to spend five to eight years writing a 32-volume series on the history of China (originally a 36-volume series, later changed to a 32-volume series) and live in seclusion in a small town in the south of the Yangtze River.
