The new Zhengzhou University, located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, was merged from Zhengzhou University, Zhengzhou University of Technology and Henan Medical University on July, 2000.
A comprehensive university covering science, engineering, medicine, literature, history, philosophy, law, economics, management, teaching, agriculture, arts, etc. 12 disciplines is a double-class (world-class university construction university), which is jointly established by the Henan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education.
Zhengzhou University is rich in school resources. The school headquarters includes four campuses: new campus, south campus, north campus and medical college, with a total area of 6493 mu.
