There are three engineering universities in the military academy: National University of Defense Technology, Naval Medical University and Air Force Medical University.

I. National University of Defense Technology

The earliest predecessor of National University of Defense Technology was China People's Liberation Army Military Engineering College, and 1953 was founded in Harbin, the famous "Harbin Military Industry". General Chen Geng served as the first chairman and political commissar. Harbin Military Industry 1959 has become one of the 20 key universities in China. At present, National University of Defense Technology offers 46 undergraduate programs, including 7 postdoctoral research stations 17, 25 first-class doctoral programs and 33 first-class master programs.

Second, the Naval Medical University

Naval Medical University (Second Military Medical University) is located in Shanghai. 1949 People's Republic of China (PRC) was first established as the People's Medical College of East China Military Region on the eve of its establishment. When it was founded, it was mainly composed of East China Medical Cadre School, the Medical College of the Ministry of Health of the Third Field Army, the former National Defense Medical College of the Kuomintang and some experts and professors recruited locally. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, Naval Medical University * * * has 8 disciplines on the list, including 3 disciplines A and 5 disciplines B+.

3. Air Force Medical University

Air Force Military Medical University (Fourth Military Medical University) is located in Xi 'an, the ancient capital. Formerly the Health School of Northwest Military Region of the Eighth Route Army 194 1. During the institutional reform of the whole army in 20 17, the Air Force Institute of Aviation Medicine was merged into the school, and at the same time it was renamed as the PLA Air Force Medical University, and the name of the Fourth Military Medical University was retained and transferred to the China People's Liberation Army Air Force. The school has three affiliated hospitals, Xijing Hospital, Tang Dou Hospital and Stomatological Hospital of Air Force Military Medical University.
