The University of California, Berkeley, located in Berkeley, San Francisco Bay Area, USA, is a world-renowned public research university and a member of the Pacific Rim University Alliance, enjoying a high reputation in academic circles. Berkeley is the founding campus of the University of California and one of the most liberal and inclusive universities in the United States.

1964 The "Freedom of Speech Movement" initiated by the students of this school had a far-reaching impact on American society and changed the views of generations on politics and morality. This school is one of the most important research and teaching centers in the world. ARWU ranks among the top five in the world in physics, chemistry, computer science, economy and social science. Together with Stanford University in South Bay, San Francisco, it forms an academic center in the western United States.

University of California, Berkeley, founded in 1868, is a public university and the founding school of the University of California system. California was different then. Today, the western part of the United States has not been fully developed, and a large area of wasteland has yet to be developed.

In order to meet the needs of people involved in the western development, the California state government issued a bill to establish California's own universities, and the first university in the California university system, Berkeley, was born on this land.
