Beijing university of chemical technology (Beihua University of Chemical Technology), founded in 1958, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China, and also a national "double-class" construction university with "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" and "21Engineering". Beijing university of chemical technology is a university jointly established by the Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the Ministry of Education. It is a member of the Beijing Hi-Tech University Alliance and an institution that receives scholarships from the China Municipal Government for overseas students. It has been selected as a base for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and technology transfer in colleges and universities. Beijing university of chemical technology, formerly known as Beijing Institute of Chemical Technology, aims at "cultivating advanced chemical talents needed by cutting-edge science and technology".
