Chongqing College of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences is located in the water and soil high-tech park in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing. It is a research institution focusing on scientific research and has the teaching functions of graduate students and doctoral students. In terms of campus design, Chongqing College of Chinese Academy of Sciences is committed to creating a landscape campus that is compatible with natural ecology and advanced technology. It takes Chongqing's mountain style, classic diaojiao building and mezzanine roof as its design language, and absorbs Chongqing's regional characteristics and Bayu cultural architectural features.
Landscape design focuses on excavating the "landscape spirit" of the site, creating an ecological landscape circle, forming a landscape pattern with mountains, water and trees as a whole, and integrating the concepts of nature, ecology, environmental protection and intelligence into the transportation, landscape and service of the park to realize multiple landscape layouts such as "water landscape", "garden landscape" and "green landscape".

The school has seven professional secondary colleges, namely, Artificial Intelligence College, Resources and Environment College, Materials Science and Engineering College, Life Science College, Energy College, Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing College and Clinical Medical College, and two non-professional secondary colleges, namely, Shuangchuang College and Continuing Education College.
