When was the Wine College of Northwest A&F University established?
Northwest A&F University Wine College was established on April 20th, 1994. Its predecessor was 1985, which founded the "Grape Cultivation and Brewing" College. It is the first college in Asia that specializes in the research and promotion of grapes and wine, and trains senior professionals in the production, marketing, management and scientific research and promotion of grapes and wine. The college has 48 faculty members and 30 full-time teachers. National famous teachers 1 person, national teaching team 1 person, provincial famous teachers 1 person, 2 provincial teaching teams, national "100 million talents project" winner 1 person, and 2 national grape industry technical system post experts. The college has two provincial scientific research platforms, one provincial teaching platform 1 and two international cooperation and exchange platforms.

Dr. Li Hua, the founder of the research institute, led the wine research institute, and established the grape and wine discipline theory and China wine industry technology system, which are based on grape science, centered on wine science, oriented by wine engineering, and characterized by the close integration of Industry-University-Research, covering the needs of the complete industrial chain from land to table.
