What happened to the boy with a dream?
Yesterday, I revisited the movie Dream of Childlike Heart, which was as wonderful as Forrest Gump and The Shawshank Redemption. Everyone has the right to pursue dreams, and every dream deserves to be respected.

This film mainly tells the story of a teenager chasing his dream. Rudy has been a football fanatic since he was a child. His family also loves football, and even one of them is a supporter of Notre Dame football team. This school is not an ordinary school. For ordinary people, this school is out of reach Rudy was eager to be a football player and go to Notre Dame University since he was a child. Because of his poor grades in high school, he finally had to give up and work in his father's steel plant. While working in the steel works, he still hasn't forgotten his football dream. On his 22nd birthday, his friend Peter gave him a dress with the words Notre Dame printed on it as a birthday present, and he firmly believed that he would realize his dream. Later, while working in a steel plant, his friend Peter died unfortunately. He was heartbroken and decided to leave to pursue his dream. Repeated dissuasion by his girlfriend's father failed to shake him, and he resolutely embarked on the road of chasing his dreams.

When he first arrived at Notre Dame University, the doorman told him to go to the priest, thinking that he might be able to help him, so he asked the priest to explain the situation. The priest thinks that he should go to the school next door for one year first, and if he can get an A in all subjects, he can apply for registration at Notre Dame University. So he worked hard, studied hard at school, and experienced it by himself after class, such as working as a free helper in the sports ground, just to get familiar with the terrain. In the meantime, the reverse is not so easy. Repeated applications and repeated retreats, but these did not make him give up. On the contrary, they honed his strong fighting spirit. When he got the application for admission for the last time, he really shed tears. That's excitement and joy, a reward for studying hard, and the best answer for sticking to your dreams.

After entering Notre Dame University, he began to practice football. It is undoubtedly good news for him to be chosen by the coach as the backup camp of the school team because he is diligent and eager to learn. However, after such tenacious efforts, he never got a chance to play. When he couldn't find his name again and again in the shortlist, he finally collapsed and chose to give up, but the encouragement of his friends made him return to the playground, regain his confidence and regain his high morale. Finally, when I graduated from my senior year, I came out as a substitute in a game to help my teammates get good grades. In that game, Rudy's name was shouted all over the stadium, and his parents were proud of it, and his friends were also happy and proud of it. He was carried off the court by his teammates, which is an honor and the best proof of the success of his dream pursuit. He finally won!

His growing career was denied. No one thinks he can succeed. Even everyone thinks he is not tall, smart or strong enough. He wants to go to Notre Dame. The football team is daydreaming. When no one thought he could succeed, only his good friend Peter firmly trusted him. It is enough for one person to understand. Rudy said, "You are the only one who wants to believe me." Peter replied, "Only those who have dreams can endure life." Rudy is a man who bravely pursues his dream life with a pure heart.

I still remember Rudy saying, "All my life, people have been telling me what I can and can't do, and I have always listened to them, but I don't want to do it again." In retrospect, most of us who are not arranged to live like this are told what kind of school we should go to, what kind of things we should do, and what kind of jobs we should find when we grow up. Few people step by step without their own soul, walk like a shell, and really dare to pursue their dreams like the protagonist.

Everyone who has a dream deserves to be respected. We should all cheer for those who dare to discover and try to stick to their dreams silently. Born as a man, you don't need to prove yourself to others, but it is enough to prove yourself. If you have a dream, don't give it up easily, and don't be afraid that you can't reach it. Be brave, borrow the lyrics of the song "Dream for Childlike Heart": "Run forward, face cold eyes and ridicule, how can you feel the vastness of life without suffering?"

No matter how small the dream is, it should not be trampled on. If you still have a dream, pursue it, no matter how big or small it is. You know, as long as you pursue it, you can always reach it. May your dreams be cared for and your pursuits realized. May you become a teenager who dares to pursue dreams and indulge in them!
