Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. The school has four campuses: Heping Campus, Wulipu Campus, Dingxi Campus and Gannan Campus. The headquarters and Heping Campus are located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, Dingxi Campus is located in Dingxi City, Gansu Province, and Gannan Campus is located in Hezuo City, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province.

Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1978, is a "5+3" integrated enrollment institution approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, a "China Government Scholarship" for international students, and a major in traditional Chinese medicine, and has the right to award doctoral degrees.
