From 65438 to 0980, Shandong University set up a law major in the Department of Scientific Socialism, and enrolled the first special law class, which opened the modern law education of Shandong University. 198 1 year, undergraduate law major was established. 1983 the law department of Shandong university was established, with Mr. Qiao Wei, a famous jurist, as the dean. 1994 was transformed into a law school, with Mr. Xu Xianming, a famous jurist, as the first president.

20 16, Qingdao Campus of Shandong University officially opened. Law school, as one of the six colleges of Shandong University that moved from Jinan to Qingdao campus, moved to Qingdao campus on 20 17, and reserved a certain space in Hongjialou campus of Jinan, which ushered in unprecedented development opportunities.
