There is no Dujiangyan campus now. After the disaster in different places, the current location is Shiling Campus. At present, only the Shiling campus of Sichuan University has been put into use. Chengdu University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a comprehensive university and a key construction university in Chengdu.

In 2006, Chengdu Institute of Education, Chengdu Health School in Sichuan Province and Chengdu Kindergarten Normal School in Sichuan Province were merged into Chengdu College. On April 20 10, Chengdu Railway Central Hospital was transferred to the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University.

August 20 13, all state-owned property rights of Sichuan Institute of Antimicrobial Industry were transferred to Chengdu University free of charge; On February 7, 20 18, 18, the Ministry of Education officially approved the renaming of Chengdu University.
