College of Animal Science and Technology (College of Animal Medicine) was formerly the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Shandong Agricultural College, which was founded in 1949. 1994 1 Renamed as College of Animal Science and Technology, and in 2006 1 Established Animal Medical College (co-located with College of Animal Science and Technology).
The college has seven teaching units, including basic veterinary department, preventive veterinary department, clinical veterinary department, animal genetics, breeding and reproduction department, animal nutrition and feed science department, aquaculture department and animal pharmacy department. There are five undergraduate majors in animal science, animal medicine, aquaculture, animal pharmacy and aquarium technology.
2. Qingdao Agricultural University
The College of Animal Medicine of Qingdao Agricultural University was established in July 20 17. Based on the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, which was established in early 1958, and the College of Animal Science and Technology, which was established in 2002, the first-class discipline of veterinary medicine and two undergraduate majors of animal medicine and animal pharmacy were independently set up to establish an animal hospital.
