North university of china Institute of Information and Communication Engineering, referred to as the Fifth Institute for short, was established in February 2005 by the automatic control department established by 19 1, the test technology department established by 1986 (renamed as the electronic engineering department by 1997) and the electronic information engineering department established by 1995. There are five departments: electronic engineering department, information engineering department, communication engineering department, electrical engineering department and photoelectric engineering department, 1 electrical and electronic experimental teaching center. Subjects and majors cover electronics, information, communication, optical information, electricity, control and other fields, and shoulder the dual tasks of cultivating post-doctoral, doctoral, master's and undergraduate talents and scientific research. There are more than 200 teachers in the college, including part-time academician of China Academy of Engineering 1 person, 20 doctoral supervisors, 62 master supervisors, 37 professors and 55 associate professors.
