School of Stomatology, Zhengzhou University (formerly Department of Stomatology, Henan Medical University) was established in 1985. It is integrated with the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, and is responsible for the training of undergraduates, postgraduates, stomatological postgraduates and adult students at the specialist level, and conducting basic and clinical research on oral diseases. 1999 obtained the master's degree in stomatology, and in 2003 obtained the master's degree in stomatology. 1999, 2002 and 2005 were rated as the only key dental specialty in Henan province for three consecutive times. It is the only unit in Henan Province that has a member of the National Dental Prevention and Control Steering Group, the chairman of the Henan Stomatological Association and the director of the Chinese Stomatological Association. There are more than 40 professional dentists in the faculty, including 2 professors, 2 associate professors 12, 8 lecturers 18 and 5 teaching assistants. There are 4 people with doctoral degrees (including returned students 1 person). At present, there are 40 undergraduates majoring in stomatology, 80 adult undergraduates, 60 junior college students and 0/5 graduate students. After 20 years of development, the College of Stomatology has made great progress in teaching conditions, scientific research level and clinical scale, and has become an important base for training dental talents in Henan Province, which has played an important role in the development of stomatology in Henan Province.
