Baidu map query shows that Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine is one of the first national "double-first-class" universities, and high-level universities in Guangdong Province focus on building universities. It is a university of traditional Chinese medicine approved by Guangdong Provincial People's Government, Ministry of Education and state administration of traditional chinese medicine. The foundation of the school is Guangdong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was founded in 1924. Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established on 1956 with the approval of the State Council, and it is one of the first four institutions of higher learning of traditional Chinese medicine in New China. On 1995, it was officially renamed as Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.
