Located in Guangdong Province. Jiaying university is a full-time undergraduate college organized by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is established by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Meizhou Municipal People's Government, and is a key university under the "Revitalization Plan for Universities in East and West Guangdong".

As of August 20 18, in recent years, jiaying university has signed letters of intent for cooperation with domestic 17 foreign universities. Jiaying university Hakka Research Institute has organized 16 batches of 63 experts and scholars to attend international seminars on Hakka studies in universities in Southeast Asian countries, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

The school sends teachers to the United States, Britain, Australia and other countries and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan for further study; 20 17-20 18 school year hired 14 foreign teachers from the United States, Britain, Japan and Russia.
