Oxford University (Oxford University; Honorary title: Oxon or Oxf), referred to as "Oxford", is a public research university in Oxford, England, which adopts the traditional college system. He is a member of Russell University Group, one of the "Golden Triangle Famous Schools" and "G5", and a member of the Global University Presidents Forum.

Due to the strong support of the British royal family, it developed rapidly in 1 167. Oxford University is the oldest university in the English-speaking world and the second oldest institution of higher education in the world.
