On the Qualification Certificate of Teachers of Chinese as a Foreign Language
It is understood that the qualification examination for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language and the Chinese proficiency examination have risen simultaneously. In recent years, with the development of China's economy and culture, Chinese has become more and more influential in the world. According to Xie Xiaoqing, deputy director of the Center for Testing Chinese as a Foreign Language, at present, more than 65.438 million people in China have taken the Chinese proficiency test. Last year alone, nearly 654.38 million foreigners took the exam, and the number of people who took the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) reached 200,000 last year. With more and more foreigners learning Chinese, there is a growing demand for certified teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in foreign schools and training institutions.
