The mathematical modeling competition for college students in China is held on the second weekend of September every year for three days. Three students need to form a team and choose a topic to answer during the three-day competition. The final scheme is reviewed by the Mathematical Modeling Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange in the form of a paper, and then participates in the national review.

According to my experience in leading the team, these three students should be good at math knowledge and feeling (let's call them classmate A), strong in calculation ability (let's call them classmate B) and slightly good in writing (let's call them classmate C). Classmate A is responsible for the design of mathematical problem-solving ideas and frameworks and mathematical algorithms, and has a great decision on the choice of mathematical models. Classmate B is responsible for the computer realization of Classmate A's idea.

To be quick, it requires strong computer application ability. Classmate C is responsible for transforming the works of the first two classmates into papers and expressing them well. Of course, a group of three students are responsible for understanding the topic together.

It should be said that the mathematical modeling competition requires students with different abilities to make the best combination, and does not require academic qualifications, but requires at least the mathematics level of the second grade. That is to say, you have basically studied advanced mathematics, linear algebra and probability statistics, and it is best to choose fruit mathematical modeling.
