The graduate enrollment department of Guizhou University specializes in biology, crop science, horticulture, agricultural resources and environment, and plant protection.

Guizhou University, located in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. It is also a national key construction university of "world-class discipline construction university", "2 1 1 project" and "one province, one school". It has been selected into the national "20 1 1 Plan", "1/Plan" and the scholarship receiving institutions of China government for overseas students. It has become one of the 14 high-level universities under the key construction of the Ministry of Education in the western region. It is the counterpart cooperation between Zhejiang University, China Agricultural University and East China Normal University.
