Has a long history: The history of Wuhan University Medical College can be traced back to 1893 Hubei Mixed School. 1928, Wuchang Medical College and Hubei University merged to form the National Wuchang Medical College. 1949, Central University Medical College was reorganized into Wuhan University Medical College, marking the official start of medical education in Wuhan University.
