The four universities with strong strength are Harbin Institute of Technology, Jilin University, Northeastern University and Dalian University of Technology. These four universities are all "985 Project" universities and are called "F4" of Northeast 985 University because of their strong strength.
1. Harbin Institute of Technology: (Heilongjiang)
Harbin Institute of Technology, referred to as Harbin Institute of Technology, is directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and directly under the central government. Ranked as "Project 2 1 1" and "Project 985", selected as "Plan 20 1 1" and "Everest Plan". As a major member of nine university alliances, China University Presidents Association, Excellent University Alliance, Sino-Russian Engineering University Alliance, and Sino-Western University Alliance, with a graduate school, I am qualified to let graduate students draw their own lines and enjoy the reputation of "the cradle of engineers".
2. Jilin University: (Jilin)
Jilin University, referred to as Jida for short, is located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, and was founded in 1946. It is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the national "21Project", "985 Project" and "20 165438 Plan". It is an important part of the Asia-Pacific International Education Association, the 2 11plan, the excellent legal talents education and training plan, the excellent engineer education and training plan, the excellent doctor education and training plan, and the excellent agricultural and forestry talents education and training plan.
3. Northeastern University: (Liaoning)
Northeastern University, NEU for short, is a research university of science and engineering directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is located in Shenyang, the central city in the northeast of China. It is the "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project" jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Liaoning Province and Shenyang City. He has been selected into "20 1 1 plan", "kloc-0/1plan", "excellent engineer education and training plan" and "national innovative experiment plan for college students" successively. It is a member university of "2 1 Century Academic Alliance", which was the earliest in China in 1980s. It is a national key university determined by the Central Committee 1960 and 1978, and the first batch of universities with the right to confer doctoral degrees approved by the State Council198/kloc-0.
4. Dalian University of Technology: (Liaoning)
Dalian University of Technology, referred to as Dagong, is located in Bincheng, Dalian. It is a national key university directly under the central government and the Ministry of Education, one of the four famous national engineering institutes, and the national "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project", "Education and Training Plan for Outstanding Engineers", "National Innovative Experiment Plan for College Students" and "65438".
