Singapore University of Science and Technology Design is the fourth public university in Singapore and the first university in the world to integrate design and innovation into research and engineering.

Singapore University of Technology, formerly the Singapore Institute of Technology, was upgraded to the fifth public university in Singapore on March 28th, 20 14, and renamed as Singapore University of Technology.
Singapore University of Technology focuses on applied disciplines. In 20 14, three full-time undergraduate degree courses, namely, infrastructure safety engineering, information and communication engineering and accounting, were first introduced. These three professional courses have industry advisory committees to ensure that the course content meets the needs of the industry.
