The college entrance examination notices of Kunlun University are distributed in batches, usually in mid-July. Under normal circumstances, students receive notice in July and start school in September.

Kunlun College of Qinghai University was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004. It is an independent college organized by Qinghai University according to the new mechanism and mode, and it is also the only ordinary undergraduate independent college in Qinghai Province.
