Sanjiang university is located in Nanjing, a famous historical and cultural city and the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. It is a provincial-level undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, the first private undergraduate college in Jiangsu Province and one of the first four private undergraduate colleges in China.

Campus profile:

The school has four campuses: Tiexinqiao main campus, East campus, South campus and Dongshan campus. Tiexinqiao main campus is located on the Huaihe River in Xinqin at the foot of Niushou Mountain in Yuhuatai District, south of Nanjing, between the two rivers and three mountains. "Looking at Niushoushan in the south, Fangshan in the east and Zijinshan in the north" and "Great River, Clear Qinhuai" (both selected from the poem "Recalling Jiangnan" by former Central University President Luo Jialun).

1March 992:

Sanjiang university was founded by Tao Yongde and Qi of Southeast University, Ding of Nanjing University and Xie of Nanjing Staff University.

65438+June 0993:

Jiangsu provincial government agreed to build sanjiang university and try to recruit students.

1April 995:

The school was formally established with the approval of the former State Education Commission.

1999:

The school is located in Tiexin Bridge, Yuhuatai District.

February 2002:

Approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university and named sanjiang university.

May 2006:

Passed the evaluation of the right to confer bachelor's degree in Jiangsu Province.
