University GPA 3.0 refers to the GPA obtained by calculating all courses and credits according to a certain proportion. In fact, if China's grade conversion GPA is 3.0, it is a relatively low grade. It is not so difficult for college students in China to get a 3.0 GPA.
There are four grading methods: arithmetic average, weighted average, credit grade point and average credit grade point.
Arithmetic average is to add up the scores of all subjects and divide them by the number of subjects.
The weighted average score is the average score of each course multiplied by the corresponding credits of the subject and then divided by the total credits.
The sum of the credits is the sum of the credits of each course multiplied by the corresponding credits.
The average GPA is the sum of credits in each course multiplied by the corresponding GPA divided by the total credits, that is, the sum of credit GPA divided by the total credits.
Among the four grading methods, China mainly calculates the weighted average score of credits, while foreign countries adopt the five-point system, mainly using the average grade point. The sum of GPA and GPA has the same effect.
