Introduction of Tsinghua University Auditorium
Located in the middle of Tsinghua University, facing the second school gate across the lawn, it was completed by the United States, and together with the library, science museum and gymnasium, it constituted the "four major buildings" in Tsinghua's early days. The auditorium combines the architectural styles of Greece and Rome. When it was completed in 1920, it had a building area of1840m2, a volume of12350m3 and more than 900 seats. It was the largest auditorium and lecture hall of China University at that time. Because there is no architectural acoustic design, there are acoustic problems that can't be heard clearly from the beginning.
