Xu Deming
Xu Deming, male, born in June, has a doctor of literature. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Literature of Yangzhou University, a master of modern and contemporary literature at Yangzhou University, and a leader of national key disciplines. He is also a professor at Anhui Normal University, vice president of China Laoshe Research Association, director of China Contemporary Literature Research Association, vice president of Jiangsu Modern Literature Research Association and vice president of Yangzhou University Non-partisan Senior Intellectuals Association.
He has been engaged in the research of modern literature and contemporary literature in China for a long time, and the academic content and frontier of his papers and works have been widely recognized by the academic circles. He made great contributions to the evolution and integration of elegance and vulgarity in China's novels. His masterpiece is The Evolution and Integration of Elegance and Vulgarity in China's Modern Novels (Social Science Literature Publishing House, 2000), which is regarded as a "rare masterpiece" by academic predecessors (Xu Sinian). The newly opened research field of China's modern novel poetics tries to seek its poetic value between the practice of modern and contemporary literature creation and the writer's poetic goal. He has published many papers in Literature Review, China Modern Literature Research Series, Contemporary Writers Review and other publications, including: Between History and Individuals: Wang Anyi's Theory of All Living Beings (Literature Review 200 1. < coloratura > the construction of novel genre under the atmosphere of modern knowledge (Literary Review, February 2002); Lao She's practice of integrating Chinese and Western poetics in his novels (China Modern Literature Research Series 2000+0), etc. The paper "Modern Popular Fiction: Evolution and Integration of Old and New Fiction" (Literature Review 1998.2) won the third prize of outstanding achievements in the 6th Philosophy and Social Sciences in Jiangsu Province, and the monograph "Evolution and Integration of Elegance and Vulgarity in Modern Novels in China" (Social Science Literature Publishing House, 2000) won the third prize of outstanding achievements in the 7th Philosophy and Social Sciences in Jiangsu Province.
