1996 enrolled a four-year undergraduate program in urban planning (changed to a five-year program in 2002), and the architecture program was changed to a five-year program with the approval of the State Education Commission. In 2000, undergraduate students majoring in art and design were enrolled. In 2004, he was awarded a master's degree in "Building Technology Science" and enrolled the first batch of graduate students in that year. In 2005, he was awarded a master's degree in engineering in the field of "architectural and civil engineering". In 2007, the school adjusted the major of industrial design from the School of Mechanical Engineering to the School of Architecture as needed (the enrollment of industrial design started from 1999).
In 2004, architecture major passed the national evaluation of architecture major, becoming the 28th institution in China that can award bachelor's degree in architecture, and the only school in Hebei Province that passed the national evaluation of architecture major.
After more than 20 years of construction, the School of Architecture has built a team of teachers with reasonable age structure and complete professional knowledge. There are 78 teachers in the school, including 7 full-time vocational colleges and 4 associate vocational colleges/kloc-0. There are 12 national first-class registered architects and registered planners, and 7 graduate tutors.
Standardizing teaching management and improving teaching quality is the eternal theme of architecture college.
