Liang Aiping, researcher, doctor, doctoral supervisor, head of cicada research group of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Party member, born in June, 1962, 1 1,1978-1kloc-0/,studied at the Agricultural College of Yangzhou University,1983-/kloc. 1988 12 graduated from northwest agricultural university with a doctor of science, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences 1989- 1 year, and has been employed as an associate researcher ever since (199 1 year). 1994- 1995 won the theodore roosevelt memorial fund for postdoctoral research at the American Museum of Natural History (new york), 1998- 1999 won the Royal Scholarship for postdoctoral research at the Welsh Museum of Natural History of the Royal Society, in September 2005-12.

Mainly engaged in the study of the morphology, classification, evolution, phylogeny and animal geography of Cicadellidae (Insecta: Hemiptera). More than 30 research papers 1 have been published at home and abroad, more than 70 SCI papers have been published by independent authors or first authors, and the research monograph1department has been edited. He has successively presided over the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the important directional project of the knowledge innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the innovative group project of young scientists of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 1997 won the Young Scientist Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences. 1998 received special government subsidies, and 1999 received the National Fund for Outstanding Youth. In 2003, he was selected into the "Hundred Talents Program" of China Academy of Sciences. In 2004, he was selected as one of the "National Talents Project in the New Century" by the Ministry of Personnel.
