Students majoring in new energy include Shenyang Institute of Engineering, North China Electric Power University and Zhejiang University.
1, shenyang ligong university
Shenyang Institute of Engineering was established in April 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of Shenyang Electric Power Institute (founded in 1952) and Liaoning Business Vocational College (founded in 1947). It is a provincial undergraduate university with energy and electricity as its main subjects.
The School of Energy and Power of Shenyang Institute of Engineering was formerly the Power Department of Shenyang University of Electric Power. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "serving electric power, serving Liaoning, promoting teachers by industry, application-oriented, integrating production and education, and being outstanding", the college has provided a steady stream of motivation for talent training in energy and electric power industry in Liaoning Province and even the whole country.
2. North China Electric Power University
As the "2 1 1 Project" directly under the Ministry of Education, North China Electric Power University is building a national key university and is committed to providing professional personnel training and scientific and technological support for realizing the national energy and power strategy.
In order to meet the demand for professional talents for renewable energy development in China, with the support of the National Energy Administration, the Ministry of Education and the renewable energy industry in China, North China Electric Power University established the first renewable energy college in China in 2007 through the cross-integration of disciplines such as electricity, power, machinery and automation. In April 2020, the Renewable Energy Research Institute was renamed as the New Energy Research Institute.
3. Zhejiang University
School of Energy Engineering, Zhejiang University, formerly known as Department of Thermophysical Engineering, was founded in 1978. It is the earliest college of thermophysics engineering in China. 65438-0989, the Department of Thermophysical Engineering was renamed the Department of Energy Engineering. From 65438 to 0999, the Department of Energy Engineering merged with department of mechanical engineering and the Department of Engineering Mechanics to form the School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering.
The college has five research institutes: thermal energy engineering, chemical machinery, refrigeration and low temperature, power machinery and vehicle engineering, thermal energy engineering and power system. There are 1 national key disciplines, 1 doctoral program, 1 postdoctoral mobile station and 1 collaborative innovation center.
