My hometown is located in the Qinling Mountains in the south of Shaanxi Province. In 2008, I was admitted to Guangxi University in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, and began my four-year college life.
(1) came before. Before I came to Nanning to study in university, I learned a lot about Nanning through the Internet. I know Nanning is a very modern city through Baidu pictures. Of course, before I entered the university, I seldom had the opportunity to go to other big cities. The farthest place I have been may be my county town.
② Take the train. At that time, the four of us agreed to buy train tickets together and go to Nanning together by train. We arrived at Nanning Railway Station at four or five in the morning. After leaving the station, the heat wave rolled. It was four or five o'clock in the morning, and the weather was so hot that we also had a deep understanding of the heat in Nanning.
③ Plants. I was deeply impressed by the plants on the streets of Nanning. The University Road in Nanning is magnificent, and the trees on the street all say banyan palm trees, which is very different from the plants in the north. I was deeply impressed by the neat and dense street trees on Nanning Minzu Avenue. Nanhu Park in Nanning is very beautiful, and the big lawn makes me like it very much. The plants in Qingxiu District of Nanning are also very dense, and some places are even like tropical rainforests.
④ Dialect. My roommate who just entered the university dormitory called home, and I couldn't understand their dialect. At first, I was depressed. I didn't know how to communicate with them after four years in college. Later, I learned that I really thought too much. They usually speak Mandarin, but it is not very standard, at least they can understand it. I remember that there were always eight people in our dormitory at that time. Only my roommate in Henan province speaks dialect, but I can't understand other roommates.
⑤ Park. I still have a lot of free time during my college years, so I like to visit various places in Nanning at that time. I have been to many streets and parks. I have been to Xiang Si Lake Park, People's Park, Shishan Park, Medicinal Botanical Garden, Qingxiu Mountain, Nanhu Park and Jin Chahua Park. Among these parks, I like Nanhu Park and Qingxiu Mountain best. I hope I can visit these two parks again when I go to Nanning.
⑥ National elements. Guangxi is a place with a large population of ethnic minorities, especially Zhuang and Yao. Many of my classmates and the students I know in Guangxi University are ethnic minorities, especially Zhuang students. Later, I learned that there are more than 50 million people in Guangxi, including Zhuang100000. There are many ethnic elements in the streets of Nanning, especially in places like Minzu Avenue. Sometimes I like to see these ethnic elements decorated.
⑦ Climate. Nanning is a place with high temperature all the year round. There may be 1 1 month in a year, all in summer, and only one month is slightly cold. Because of the high temperature all the year round, we basically take a bath every day. When I was studying in Nanning, I also developed the habit of taking a bath every day. But I don't have this habit when I go back and forth to work in Shaanxi, and the frequency of bathing is not as high as that in Nanning.
8 Return to Nantian. When we were studying in Nanning, we really realized Nanning's return to the south. It's probably March in the solar calendar. For a whole month, the air humidity is very high, there are water drops on the walls and floors, and the quilts and clothes are wet, which makes me feel very uncomfortable. During this month, I basically didn't dare to wash clothes, because even if I did, it was unlikely to dry.
