The Historical Evolution of Jinling Vocational College
Jinling Institute of Science and Technology was approved by the Ministry of Education and the provincial and municipal governments, and was formed by the merger of Nanjing Jinling Vocational College and Nanjing Agricultural College. It was established in June 2002, focusing on cultivating advanced applied talents.

The school has three campuses, Jiangning, Shogunate and Baixia, covering an area of nearly 1.600 mu. The school has a total construction area of about 500,000 square meters, more than 820,000 paper books, and the total value of instruments and equipment is about1.400 million yuan. The school has more than 7000 full-time students 17000 and faculty 1000, including more than 700 full-time teachers, 30% of whom are professors, associate professors and other teachers with senior titles. It has a group of national excellent teachers, winners of special government allowances, young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions at the provincial level, provincial famous teachers and academic leaders with deep academic attainments, and dozens of teachers have been selected as young and middle-aged academic leaders in the "333 High-level Talents Training Project" and the "Blue Project" in Jiangsu Province.
