Liaoning University is a provincial comprehensive university with disciplines such as literature, history, philosophy, economics, law, science, engineering, management, medicine and art. The school has three campuses, namely Chongshan Campus in Shenyang, Puhe Campus in Shenyang and Vu Thang Campus in Liaoyang. The school covers an area of 2 190 mu, with a school building area of 894,400 square meters. It is a national "2 1 1 project" key construction institution and a world-class discipline construction institution.

2. Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics

Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is a multidisciplinary institution of higher learning characterized by aerospace, focusing on engineering, and coordinating the development of engineering, science, literature, economics, management and art.

It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, AVIC and Liaoning Province, a university jointly established by the National Defense Science and Technology Bureau and Liaoning Province, and a training base for talents (aerospace) lacking in equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province. "National Defense Science and Technology Talents Training Base" and "Liaoning Old Industry Revitalization Talents Training Base" have been basically established, and efforts have been made to build "domestic first-class equipment manufacturing technology engineering research base".

3. Shenyang Gong Li University

Shenyang Gong Li University was formerly the Industrial College of the Military Industry Department of the Northeast Military Region, which was founded in 1948. 1960 shenyang ligong university was founded, and it was renamed as Shenyang Gong Li University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2004. 20 10 Liaoning provincial people's government signed an agreement with China ordnance industry group and China ordnance equipment group to jointly build Shenyang Gong Li university.

In 20 16, it was approved that "the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Liaoning Province jointly established a university" and became a national defense college jointly established by the provincial bureau. The school is a pilot university of the National Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program. The China government scholarships institutions to recruit foreign students in China, and the Ministry of Education approves the recruitment of high-level teams.

4. Shenyang University

Shenyang University is a comprehensive university with undergraduate education as the main body, doctoral and master's education, continuing education and international education. In the ranking of the best universities in China in 2020 released by the Shanghai Department of Soft Science, the school ranks 30 1. In the ranking of China universities in 2020 published by the Iresen Alumni Association Network, the comprehensive strength of universities jumped to 242nd, ranking among the top 300 universities in China 1200.

5. Northeastern University

Northeastern University, founded on April 26th, 1923, is a university with a glorious patriotic tradition. 1August, 928 to1June, 937, the famous patriotic general, General Zhang Xueliang, was also the principal. 1949 In March, Shenyang Institute of Technology was established on the basis of (part of) Engineering College and Science College of Northeastern University.

August, 1950, named Northeast Institute of Technology; /kloc-0 changed its name to northeastern university in March, 1993; 1June, 997, the former Shenyang Gold College was merged into Northeastern University; 1September, 1998, transferred to universities directly under the Ministry of Education. The school is one of the first national key construction universities in "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project". On September 20 17, with the approval of the State Council, it entered the ranks of first-class universities.
