Generally speaking, the EMBA of Sun Yat-sen University requires a bachelor degree or above and has work experience. The EMBA of Lingnan (University) College of Sun Yat-sen University has admitted some applicants who lack academic qualifications or work experience but have made outstanding achievements in other fields (for example, they have won national or even international awards in the field of work, made outstanding business achievements or made significant social contributions). If candidates feel that they meet the above requirements, they can send their resumes and a detailed self-report (introducing your achievements and honors) to the EMBA office of Lingnan College. The Admissions Committee will examine their application qualifications and admit some excellent applicants.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, people with college education (including workers, peasants and soldiers, adult college entrance examination, self-taught examination, college entrance examination, correspondence who passed the entrance examination of the Ministry of Education, and TV University) are allowed to apply for EMBA programs, but they can only account for 10% of the total enrollment.
