There are three reasons:
First, the courses of human resource management in our school are more targeted than those of personnel management in general universities.
The department of labor relations in our school has two majors: labor relations and human resource management. Unlike ordinary colleges and universities that focus on economic management and business administration, our human resources management major is committed to cultivating high-quality professionals with a sense of harmonious labor relations, basic theoretical literacy in management, economics, sociology, law and other aspects, mastering modern human resources management theory and business operation skills, and being familiar with labor policies and regulations, and being able to engage in personnel management, recruitment, training, performance management, salary management and government work.
In other words, the students majoring in human resources management in our school not only have the knowledge and skills reserves that the students majoring in human resources management should have, but also are better at dealing with various problems from the perspective of both sides of labor relations in actual combat.
Basic courses include management, advanced mathematics, western economics, human resource management, labor relations, labor law, labor economics, psychology, marketing, statistics and other courses; Professional courses include job analysis, organizational behavior, performance management, salary management, employee training and development, theory and method of talent evaluation, career management, academic foreign languages of human resources management, etc. Professional experimental practice courses include human resource management software, simulated recruitment, role-playing of personnel managers and other courses; Optional courses include corporate culture, corporate strategic management, social insurance management, crisis management, company law, leadership and other courses.
Second, our school has strong human resource management ability.
Qiao Jian, a professional teacher, is the head of the Labor Relations Department of China Institute of Labor Relations and a member of the Professional Title Evaluation Committee. The main social part-time jobs are: vice president of Labor Relations Branch of China Human Resources Development Research Association, member of china association for labour studies Academic Committee, vice president of sociology of work Branch of China Academy of Social Sciences, executive director of China Labor Economics Association, former Haidian District People's Congress representative, and member of CPPCC. The main research fields are: employee status, labor relations and trade union theory. The 12th Beijing Teachers' Training Conference.
Mr. Zheng Qiao is the deputy director, professor and tutor of master students in the Department of Labor Relations, a member of the academic committee of China Labor Relations Society and the executive director of the History Society of China International Universiade. The main teaching courses include labor relations, comparative labor relations, collective contract system and practice, and the present situation of contemporary world labor movement.
From the beginning of this major, Mr. Hao Nan devoted himself to the teaching task of labor relations and human resource management for many years, teaching courses such as Introduction to Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. In teaching, we don't stick to textbook knowledge and rigid teaching, but combine textbook knowledge with practice. In daily teaching, students give lectures in each class, which are divided into preview and case analysis to exercise students' communication and expression skills; It has become a major feature of the Department of Labor Relations to require students to wear formal attire to class. Often carry out actual combat training, such as scenario simulation, leaderless group discussion, simulated recruitment and other activities.
Thirdly, the China University Student Human Resource Management Skills Competition (HRU) sponsored by our school was founded by Hao Nan, a new teacher of our department, from 20 15. It lasted for five years, covering 200 colleges and universities across the country, and HRU appeared in CCTV news for the fourth time. The purpose of the contest is to promote the cultivation of applied talents in colleges and universities, promote the coordinated development of schools and enterprises, jointly run schools, and enhance the exchanges between college students and enterprises. In order to implement the spirit of the undergraduate conference of the Ministry of Education, personnel training will run through the whole process.
My answer to the second question is that, in my opinion, it is more important for students majoring in human resource management to have practical skills. Therefore, after laying a good foundation, they should pay more attention to skills training, such as blind typing, labor dispute handling ability and so on. During college, you can also choose to participate in relevant competitions to exercise your ability.
