Zhejiang University of Technology was founded in 1953, located in the scenic Hangzhou. It is a comprehensive provincial-level key university focusing on engineering and compatible with arts, science, law, economics, medicine, management and teaching. In order to strengthen the management of disciplines, degrees and graduate education, the school began to build a graduate school in 2003. Graduate school is the management institution responsible for enrollment, training, student status management, ideological education, degree management and discipline construction.
Our school began to recruit master students from 1979 with the approval of the former State Education Commission, and became a doctoral degree awarding unit from 1998. It has successively obtained the right to apply for a master's degree with the same academic ability, for on-the-job personnel to study for a master's degree, to recommend them to study for a master's degree without examination, and for outstanding master students to study for a doctorate in advance.
