Under normal circumstances, as long as people who apply to join the Party are absorbed by the Party organization through the organization inspection and the required procedures, and become a formal party member, as long as they abide by the provisions of the Party, fulfill their obligations as party members, have no violations of laws and regulations, and have no adverse reactions from the masses, party member will not be dealt with and expelled from the organization. But as far as party member's thought is concerned, it is hard to say whether party member's personal ideological quality really meets party member's requirements. There will be several situations. First, after joining the Party, the ideological and political quality failed to keep pace with the times, and the ideological understanding and political quality stagnated, which did not meet the advanced requirements of party member. Second, they have not built a solid ideological defense line, are not strict with themselves, are corroded by bad atmosphere, gradually deviate from the interests of the masses, and run counter to the line, principles and policies they should have. Our party is a Marxist political party, constantly enriching and developing Marxist theory according to China's national conditions. In today's social and international environment, it is said that if you don't advance, you will retreat. Only by sticking to one's own ideological defense line, keeping in mind the Party's purpose, constantly learning various theories and knowledge that contribute to social development and harmony, and constantly improving one's comprehensive quality, can one become a qualified party member. This is also the basis for the CPC Central Committee to propose the establishment of a learning-oriented party organization.
