Good afternoon everyone! I feel very honored to stand here and communicate with you today. First of all, let me introduce myself: my name is XXX, I was born in XX, graduated from XX University, and my major is XXX. He is currently a village official in XX Village, XX Township, XX County. The topic of my speech today is "The Road to Youth without Regret".

I have been working in XX village for some time. In these months of work and life, the township party Committee, government and village Committee have given me great care and help. Under their correct guidance, I always keep in mind the earnest instruction of the leaders of the organization departments of provincial and municipal county committees, strive to change my role, actively adapt to the working and living environment in rural areas, actively participate in all kinds of work, do my best to do my job well, and strive to contribute to the development of village industries, cultural construction and grassroots party organizations. Through visiting and investigating, I have a deeper understanding of the countryside and a deeper feeling for farmers. Rural conditions are relatively difficult and the economic level is low. Getting rid of poverty and getting rich and running towards a well-off society is not a one-off event. We need young people to spend their youth and make contributions in the vast world of rural areas. Let me talk about the following three experiences:

First, firm belief, perseverance and determination to overcome difficulties.

I have more difficulties working in the countryside than my colleagues working in my hometown.

First, the language barrier, different customs, life is difficult to integrate. As the saying goes, "a hundred miles of different winds, a hundred miles of different customs." My hometown is in Weifang, Shandong, three thousand miles away. There are great differences in the local customs between the two places, so it is not convenient to communicate when you are new here.

Second, people are too young, inexperienced and untrustworthy. Young, graduated from college, worked for several months. In the eyes of many people, I may be just a child. It is not easy to gain the trust of the masses.

Third, lack of experience makes it difficult to carry out the work. Although I have lived in the countryside since I was a child, I lack rural work experience. We are not bold enough in the new environment to let go of our hands and feet completely.

There are many difficulties ahead, so I choose to face them and stick to them. Insist on visiting more than 100 farmers, get familiar with the situation in the village as soon as possible, and blend in with the masses. It lasted for more than four months, and the first two and a half months were basically in the village. On the one hand, carry out work, on the other hand, visit and investigate. I believe that as long as I have perseverance and communicate with people more, dialect customs can't beat me; As long as I have perseverance and practice more deeply, I will certainly increase my knowledge and broaden my horizons; As long as I have persistent determination and try boldly, I will certainly accumulate experience and finally succeed. For more than four months, under the guidance of the leaders and my own efforts, my mushroom planting project in Changchun Village started smoothly, and all the work of the township government was carried out in an orderly way, and my village official road made a good start.

Second, adjust measures to local conditions, develop industries and serve the people wholeheartedly.

I have been thinking about several problems in my mind, how to promote the economic development of the village? How to break through the bottleneck of development? As a university student village official, how to do something practical for the villagers?

I still remember the words of Ye, secretary of Honglin Village in honghu city, who has 40 years' experience as secretary of rural party branches. He said: "The fundamental solution to most problems in rural areas is development. Rural work should be people-oriented, serve people with morality, lead the way to get rich with obedience, and lead the way to get rich with dedication. " His voice did not fall, and the venue rang with warm applause from nearly 200 village party branch secretaries. This sentence shocked everyone present. So how do we develop? Develop what? Zhangtiansi Township is one of the townships in Dayuan of Mengqian, and Changchun Village is the leading village in the development of edible fungi industry in Zhangtiansi Township, with a history of nearly 10 years. Last year, under the influence of the financial crisis, the Agaricus bisporus industry in this village was greatly impacted, and the villagers' enthusiasm for development was hit. In order to keep this industry, the village, in combination with the actual situation, made targeted field trips to other places, learned advanced development experience from outside, introduced science and technology, and began to explore the development ideas of diversified industrial structure with Agaricus bisporus and Lentinus edodes as the mainstay, straw mushroom, Flammulina velutipes, auricularia auricula and other edible fungi coexisting.

So, in the first month of my stay, with the support of Changchun Village Secretary Gao, I went to Baimasi Town, jiangling county, Jingzhou City for many times to learn the cultivation techniques of edible fungi such as Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammulina velutipes and Auricularia auricula, and went to Yindian Town and Caodian in Suizhou City to learn the cultivation techniques of edible fungi to understand the market price and sales situation. In August, 2009, Changchun Village began to carry out the pilot cultivation of mushroom edible fungi, and hired a technician with more than 20 years' experience in mushroom cultivation from Suizhou for scientific guidance.

Everything is difficult at the beginning, and the raw material preparation of mushrooms is very complicated, and the requirements in all aspects are quite high and very hard. For most of August, I mix materials with village cadres and technicians at 3 am every day under the yellow and white lights; Staying up late to burn boilers on unbearably hot nights; Inoculating culture bags in the mosquito-bitten culture room ... so for 15 days, the high temperature and high load work from 1 am to 7: 00 pm made me a little overwhelmed, and I had a poisonous sore on my face and had an injection for three days. Then in the mushroom bag culture stage, my technicians and I should check the temperature on time every morning, noon and evening, ventilate and dissipate heat, and turn over tens of thousands of bags of mushrooms one by one. Many things happen. Now the mushrooms in Changchun Village have sprouted normally, and the current listing price trend is good, which indicates that the mushroom edible fungus project in our village has started smoothly! The fire of getting rich in the hearts of ordinary people in Changchun village has already taken the lead in burning!

Today, I can confidently say: "As the deputy secretary of the village party branch in Changchun Village, I didn't hang an empty post. I have been working hard with party member cadres in the village to explore the way out. " Since I have chosen this post, no matter how hard and tired it will be in the future, I will persist in doing my part for the development of our village and do more practical things for the people.

Third, sharpen your spirit, hone your will, and think actively and diligently.

Plum blossoms in the snow, chrysanthemums in the frost, steel in the sword and fire in the furnace. During more than four months in Zhang Tian, I spent more than half of my time working, eating and living in the countryside. These days, my palms are worn out and my soles are punctured. This pain is nothing to me. When you have eaten up the sufferings of the people, you will know their difficulties. I firmly believe that in the future life journey, this bitterness will definitely become my most precious wealth. However, when a college student just jumps out of the "farm gate" and goes back to the "farm gate" to do these things, it is inevitable that there will be people and things who throw cold water and laugh at irony. These pains have to be eaten in the mouth, chewed up and swallowed in the stomach, and should not be affected by such negative remarks. I will go forward and make persistent efforts. Ostrovsky wrote in the book How Steel was Tempered: "A person's life may burn or decay. I can't rot, I am eager to burn. " Burn, let the light of life burn! Self-confidence is always there, and passion is not limited! I firmly believe that there will be great development in rural areas in recent years, more than ten years and decades. How many beats can life have? If you don't fight at this time, when will you fight? Our generation should pay more attention to rural development and shift its focus to rural development with more opportunities. Today, I came to the countryside. I am full of confidence in the countryside. I always believe that giving up five jobs with a monthly salary of 2000-3500 before graduation is the right choice in my life.

I'm just a drop in the ocean among all sentient beings. In the vast ocean of life wisdom and knowledge, I feel like an ignorant person. But I won't sell myself short because I am small, and I won't be short by three points because of ignorance. In the journey of pursuing dreams and realizing the value of life, I dare not relax myself at all times. I hope my colleagues and I can stick to honesty, duty, diligence, ideals, science, faith and spirit, and make contributions in this vast world of rural areas with high morale!
